Welcome to Martjim Fresh Produce worlwide suppliers of fresh Avocadoes from Kenya.

We understand your needs

Who are we?

We are a group of farmers growing Hass avocados in Kenya for export. We can export to North American, European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets. Our avocados meet the standards for Global Gap certification.

The high altitude, cool climate and volcanic soils in the highlands offer the optimum conditions for producing high quality avocados. Once the avocados have matured they are hand picked and taken to a modern upgraded packhouse where they are selected by size and quality then packaged into 4kg or 10kg open tray cartons.

The farms and packhouse are regularly inspected by KEPHIS(Kenya Health Inspectorate Service) to ensure they respect the requirements for a high quality avocado for export.

We ensure that fruits are the right maturity before picking and packing.

Packing and Shipping

Our Packing is done in a modern upgraded packhouse with respect to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and in accordance with the buyer’s request. We use 4kg gross boxes(cartons) each containing 14 – 24 pieces depending on their size.

For avocados to be shipped by sea, we are vigilant that they are at the right maturity and size. Then we use 4kg open cartons or 10 kg open cartons that are resistant enough to withstand cold and moisture in the Controlled Atmosphere (CA) reefers.
